What the supplied code uses
Cookies are small pieces of browser data commonly sent with requests to a site. localStorage is a different browser storage mechanism; values remain on the device until cleared and are not automatically sent with each request. Our script uses localStorage only when you ask it to remember the preference below.

Your browser preference
No optional trackers are installed in this implementation. Either choice leaves the same tracker-free reading experience. Accepting does not install new tools or authorize unspecified future processing.
Changing or removing a choice
Use “Remove saved choice” to delete the entry controlled by this script. You can also remove this domain’s site data in your browser settings. Choices are specific to a browser profile and device; private browsing may clear them automatically. Blocking storage does not prevent reading the guides or preparing an observation slip.
Infrastructure and external links
The supplied HTML, CSS and JavaScript contain no third-party tracking or embedded social widgets. A hosting layer or separately deployed consent system may have additional behavior not implemented by these files. This page describes the supplied implementation, not a technical audit of services added outside it.
Visiting an external source opens that service’s own environment, where its cookie policies apply. Local illustrations and image references do not require a request to a third-party image service.
Files and clipboard are separate
A text file you download and text you copy through the contact tool are not browser cookies. Removing a storage preference does not remove those copies. Delete downloaded files and clear clipboard history separately if you need to.
